The Fourth Sunday of Easter
Title: "Power"
Scripture: Acts 4:5-12
Key Verse: "this man is standing before you in good health by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead" (v. 10).
Theme: The Church is a chartered organization, which means it isn’t something that finds it genesis from below, from grassroots organization, or from self-motivating principles of hope. Instead, the Church is an agent created by Christ for his work and his mission. Therefore, anything we do and however we do it, we do it not for ourselves or by ourselves or in our own power; we do it for Christ, in Christ, and through Christ.
